NINJA ASSASIN
In the past I had struggled with fitness and nutrition a great deal, to the point of eating disorders and extreme lack of confidence. I had tried everything (seriously, everything: SlimFast diets, Optifast, Curves, Weight Watchers twice, MyFitnessPal, fitness camps, gym membership after gym membership, personal trainers by the dozen) to achieve a healthy weight with little to no positive outcome.
I met Blake through a mutual friend that is still killing her fitness/nutrition goals largely due to his influence on her life, as well as her strong will-power. I decided to at least meet Blake and give it a shot, and I’m so happy I did.
Blake taught me to love food, that it’s okay to love food, even how to cook food. I learned how important it is to eat from the earth and pay less attention to calorie counting, cutting carbs and other habits that were, in my life, unhealthy. When it comes to nutrition, my life has completely changed. I eat what I want, because what I want is now vegetables (I wish you would have known me a year ago to understand how crazy that sounds), I wake up early to cook breakfast for myself and take my dog on a long walk before work (I have never been a morning person in my life… let alone a morning cook).
Blake spent the time with me, put effort into our friendship and my life, my goals. He went further into my psychological battles with food and fitness, replaced them with healthier habits, and for that I am so grateful. On top of that, he kicked my butt in the gym… I really regret saying, “I like when my abs hurt the next day!” Bad idea. But if it hadn’t been for that extra push, especially from someone who believed in me, I wouldn’t be the strong, healthy girl I am today - inside and out. Blake gave me confidence in my health, my diet and my workouts that I never could have imagined. I am so thankful for him and his knowledge, but most importantly, his dedication to me, and all of his clients (who, if I may speak for the rest, truly become more like friends).
